First of all, permit me, on behalf of Zhangzhou Eastern Intelligent Meter Co., Ltd., to extend our warm welcome to Mr. Fang the chief of work group of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Chen, Vice-chief of Xiamen Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Vice-mayor of Zhangzhou Municipal Government, and all of the leads and enterprisers.
It is known to all that "made in China" comes up against serious challenge and foreign countries are doubt about quality security of “make in China” for a few months. In fact, the quality problem of domestic products has been deliberately exaggerated; on the other hand, the very few products really have problems of quality security and accordingly blemish the reputation and image of “made in China”.
Thus, State Council convened the meeting that related to rectification and improvement of product quality and food safety on the 23rd of last month, and Wuyi, our vice- prime minister, took the lead to rectify and improve product quality and food security for four months in person. After the national quality working conference convened on the 27th, the governments and related departments form different districts also actively took action at product quality and safe problem. And here it becomes evident, that Chinese Government decided to protect the healthy life and personal profit of citizens and to protect the reputation and image of Chinese products. But the enterprise as a manufacturer would undertake the problem of product quality directly.
